How can I get people to follow my new Quora blog?

On Quora, you can make your followers to follow your blog. But many people consider it to be spammy and a faux pas. Apart  from that, applying appropriate topics to the blog and individual posts  is of paramount importance. Don't overdo it. Also, having a quality Quora presence outside of your blog, with questions, answers and  comments helps. Focus your Q&A activity on your topics of expertise  and intense interest and the people who like your stuff, will follow you  to your blog. Hi Aditya, I have read the latest post on your blog and i find it very informative. About getting more followers, Try answering more questions in the best possible way, get up-votes, get recognized and eventually this activity, if carried for few months will lead to more followers on your Quora profile and your Quora blog as well. Promote more using credits, which is again a great option given by Quora to make your content accessible to the people who are not even following you. But, I am not a great fan of Quora blogs, the reason behind this is Quora's poor Search engine optimization. Even if you are writing great content, it will be available to Quora users only and if people from outside Quora are searching for information on the same topic, they won't be able to reach your post because of Quora's poor seo. So, I personally believe that, if you are writing more on tech related topics, get a blog outside Quora, work a bit on SEO and start blogging. If the content is of good quality, you will get a lot of followers. I hope my answer helps.

At the end of the day, it boils down to having original, amazing, useful and usable posts on your Quora blog. Quora automatically distributes your posts to a large number of Quorans via their feeds anyway. Now that the "promote post" function is no more, having good, solid content is now de rigeur to increase views for a Quora blog. We're all in the same boat here. We can't use techiques like SEO, monetisation, etc, because they're not allowed or not supported on Quora. We can't promote posts anymore.
