  At HubSpot, "Inbound Marketing Manager" can mean many things - both because we use the same title across teams and because we are agile about our marketing team org structure and change it up from time to time. The day-to-day often contains content creation and data analysis, and in general involves planning and executing campaigns across channels (social media, email marketing, blog, comarketing partnerships, etc.) to hit our goals. The marketing team has clear goals around lead generation, product education, and revenue goals so it's all about identifying the initiatives that will get us to those goals and executing on them. There's a lot of flexibility and autonomy in doing so, so everyone's day-to-day can vary quite a bit. An email marketing-focused marketer might be reviewing past campaigns, pulling together new email campaigns (including a/b tests), answering questions from sales reps either about recent campaigns or questions from their prospects. A content creation-focused marketer might spend the day writing a blog article and editing an ebook that we're planning on launching, and creating the landing page for that ebook.
