What are some good interests?

What are some good ways to find people with same career as well as general interests as me?

• currently i am a college student. i have many aspirations for my life after college. it has been famously said that around 80% of the people in the world don't have jobs matching with their interests, i don't want to be one of them. i think that the way out is that if i can find some people who have same interests(career as well as general) then we together can manage to find some business out of our own interests. so, what are the ways to find such people?

  You are in college!! I don't know a better place to interact with so many people who are: of your same age have a very similar education and very likely to have the similar or same hobbies or general interests as you. Giving a personal story can be misleading, but I can give you examples of how I met people with similar interests. I had a couple of friends who shared the same taste in music, movies and games,  and a passion for cutting-edge technology. I met more people like that when I visited other colleges to participate in technical and cultural fests. Some of us almost put together a startup. Though it never really took off, we still plan to put it back together in a couple of years. Later, I also met people on social media, and have struck some very good friendships. I can also give you one thing that will stop you from finding such people: Not meeting more people, physically or virtually. The more people you meet, the more likely you are to find people you want to work with, or sometimes, live with.
