greates geek that ever lived on the earth yes he did he has some talents which are extra ordinary like photographic memory, polyglot, he can imagine building an electrical motor in the brain itself and used to caluculate power, hysteresis losses.Tesla would visualize an invention in his mind with extreme precision, including all dimensions, before moving to the construction stage, a technique sometimes known as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Picture_thinking. He typically did not make drawings by hand but worked from memory.I read some where after presenting an award Albert Einstein there people asked him how you feel to be most intelligent man on the earth then einstein answerd i dont know ,you must ask Tesla. He is the most intresting man on the earth to me but he was made to suffer by his opponent thomas alva edison @http://theoatmeal.com/comics/tesla @http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla

Since you asked this question on Quora, Iâm assuming that you want a factual answer, and not just blind fanboy rants like the other answers here give.Sorry to burst your bubble, but the answers youâre looking for are âHell noâ, and âShit, noâ.Tesla did not invent AC current; it was in use before he was even born. Yes, he did come up with advances to it that made it practical for widespread use, but if you want to give Tesla full credit for AC because of that, you would have to give Edison credit for the light bulb, and we all know how much Tesla fanboys hate doing that.Tesla did not invent radar either; he came up with the early concepts for it, but radar went through a lot of other inventors before anyone could actually make it work. Also, that story about Edison ruining Teslaâs attempt to pitch it to the Navy? He was right to do that. Tesla was proposing using radar to track submarines. Radar canât track things underwater; thatâs why we use sonar for that.I find it funny that the comic credits Tesla for working with X-Rays despite admitting that he didnât actually do anything worthwhile with them due to not wanting to deal with the risks. Not only that, but he then makes incredibly uncalled for jabs at Edison and Clarence Dally for knowingly putting their lives at risk to study the potential uses of X-Rays even further and ending up producing the X-Ray Machine, a medical device that has saved millions of lives and continues to save more every day, as a result. The earthquake machine that the comic credits Tesla for making? It doesnât work.Ball lightning? Thereâs no proof that Tesla ever managed to do that.Basically, that comic loves giving Tesla full credit for absolutely anything he had even the slightest involvement with, even when the credit rightfully belongs to someone else, so take any of the âYeah, Tesla also invented [insert seemingly-modern invention here]â claims with a hefty dose of salt. The claim that Tesla never had to write anything down? Yeah, he had notebooks full of things he had to write down. Especially funny is how Teslaâs supporters tried to hide those notebooks when they were found, just so that they could continue to spread that myth. The free energy tower thing? Wouldnât have worked. Also, J.P. Morgan cut funding to the tower because Tesla lied about what it was for.Oh, that that story about Edison owing Tesla $50,000? No proof that it ever happened. Not only that, but people who spread that story apparently donât realize that $50,000 was a lot more money back then than it is now. For comparison, Edison started Menlow Park with only $10,000; in all likelihood, $50,000 was about as much money as Edison had at the time, if not more, when means that it could very easily have genuinely been a joke that the socially awkward Tesla just didnât get. Thanks for asking this question; I donât get enough opportunities to tear apart that load of bullshit.
