How to improve Business English Skills?

How could I use my English skills to improve my social skills?

• Hello Quora, I understand the title sounds quite megalomanic and I do hope that my non-condescending question is in no way posing myself as a guy who knows everything about language learning. I am a student of Chinese origin and as you might be aware that folks in my country and those elsewhere are all learning the titular lingual franca to smooth communication in social context, if not academic. Obviously, getting a band 8 IELTS is not an earth-shattering accomplishment, but until accomplishments of otherwise more ass-kicking kind strike my mind I shall try to stick with this for the sake of using it as my own social lubricant in a hope I can even help others with their English learning.....again, in a non-condescending way, while perhaps befriending with them:) I do hope I can be taken as an affable person while "braggin/nagging" about how "awesome" my English skills are in terms of assisting them to keep abreast of...Confirmation bias aside, I do feel assured that I hear of complaints from my own compatriots about how hard it is to learn this language (You will definitely all know grammar-wise, English is not really the most confusing tongue to set as an example, Russian, Finnish etc are all more competent candidates..) and I want to somehow make good use of what I know on the language side to supplement for the lack of social skills on the other side. Do please shed some lights on what I should do or advise me on what side of other additional information I should further provide to help give more specific tips/hacks. I think folks I described above are not necessarily challenged on being an autodidact. I just want to share my learning experience and some relative success on English in an attempt to get to befriend with members of my opposite sex. Oh perhaps there is such website/social networking app for this purpose:)?

  Read more conversations - anywhere, everywhere, as long as you're sure of their English standard. Right now, your language use still comes off as rather unnatural.
