How do I deactivate my Facebook account until after exams?

Why can't I deactivate my Facebook account?

  • I recently deactivated my account, only to find out a few days later that I had something on Facebook that I want to grab. So I reactivated it, got the information, and then went to deactivate it again. When I tried deactivating it, I got one of two error messages. If I l check the "Permanently delete all applications for which I'm the only developer" checkbox I get this message. "There was a problem deleting your applications before deactivating your account. Please try again.". Problem is that I deleted any apps I was a developer for before. It is showing me one app that I deleted, that doesn't even have an app page. Almost like a ghost app. If I don't check the box, I get this error message. "Unable to deactivate your account because you are the only developer of a Platform application. Please either delete the application or assign a new owner before deactivating your account." Again, I don't have any apps that I'm a developer for. How can I fix this?

This is simple, you're not the customer and the actual customer (advertisers) don't want FB to delete your profile in hopes that you'll come back.
