Wouldn't it be politically more prudent for the BJP/NDA to consider Mr. Narendra Modi as a possible Home Minister and a politically more "acceptable" face as the Prime Minister?

Frankly, an Obama-esque flop show wasn't even half as bad as the utter meltdown of the nation Bush had orchestrated. The economy was in shambles when he left and the US was reeling from the extreme expenditure for getting involved in a massive war. Obama has brought a relatively more peaceful time and even though much of what he promised hasn't really been done, the economy is recovering and jobs are being created. If this is what happens when Modi comes to power, frankly I'm not complaining. Since the dawn of our country's independence, we've been under the yoke of this one bloody family. The times when anything was actually done was when this family wasn't in control like Atal's or Narasimha Rao's terms. Imagine how pathetic 45 years of rule was when a single 5 year term under NDA saw the building of 50% of India's pucca roads. If Modi brings this kind of rule, I'm quite happy. Who else is more politically "acceptable"? Don't tell me Advani, that old fool has let his ego run loose and he's still stuck in the old days when the party let Congress snatch power in 2004 and lost in 2009. No other party member has the kind of groundswell Modi enjoys but I'm open to suggestions.
