Insta: Why doesn't the Instagram website have a Facebook connect option yet?

Considering that Instagram is now successfully acquired by Facebook(Its been over a month now), Why do they stilll don't Facebook Connect option on their website as yet? They don't have even have the Iconic 'Like' Icon?

They have Facebook Connect in the app. But ultimately despite the fact that Instagram is owned by Facebook it is still an independent app. The truth is many Instagram users don't connect their Instagram to Facebook, in fact some absolutely want it to be separated- no link whatsoever. So Facebook connect in this case is optional.
