What is the best study methods to start a digital marketing agency?

  • if your providing an essential services for a huge base of clients and you need to manage their digital marketing plans, what you shall do, start with? what are the targets you should have, how you should calculate your budget and profit margin?

    I would not suggest finding out your client's biggest issue and the impact of the issue on their business. Meaning, what will it cost them to not change. For example, if you find a $100,000 problem, you can then sell on the value of solving the problem, rather than trading time for money. Hope this helps. Most digital agencies focus on 4 disciplines: Strategy, Design, Development & Analytics.  If you're just starting out, what I have found is focusing on the tactics (Design & Development) can get you off the ground pretty quickly (in other words, be a production shop), then slowly move your way up to Strategy and Analytics as you retain more recurring clients.  The budget/profit margin will be mostly proportional to your overhead (which in our world is mostly salary), but expect high profit margin (>20%) when starting out, and as you transition to an agency, you will likely see profit margin drops (<20%) but should come back up once you button up your process.
