Is it worth of doing MBA after BE(CSE)?

How is the scope for MBA right now, what are the varied streams available in India/US or abroad . Is MBA worth paying the fees the premium B-Schools ask for. Which Universities are best for MBA. What are better options/ courses other than MBA... Please guide me about this . I am not going forward af

  Haha! That's a lot of questions in one! Soooo, first of all, you can't really compare an MBA to other degrees in general. A good starting point is our goals. There is of course overlap between an MBA an MF a Masters in Economics, etc. etc. but to choose the right one, you need to try and imagine what industry you would want to get into, and what you would like to do for the next 5, 10 years, maybe even the rest of your life. Secondly, I'm not sure what you mean by "how is the scope" for an MBA, but in general, the most common industries for people post-MBA are Consulting, Finance, Industry (often as general management or in operations). Many candidates are also people who have either family businesses, or entrepreneurial dreams. As to whether an MBA is worth it, it will depend on: 1. where it is 2. how much it costs 3. what your salary is at the time, and what the opportunity costs are 4. what job you are aiming for 5. how much money you are getting from the school 6. what the average pst MBA salaries are for people in your field - among other things... so this is a question you can probably not answer yet. Since you are just graduating, I can say that at this point the most important thing is that you find a good job and do very well for the next 3-4 years before you apply.
