NOTE: I am talking about permanent jobs in the US or Europe or Australia. I am not talking about going on-site by joining a service company, but, yes, if you have these ideas that work, please voice it.

Answer:
First and foremost, understand the immigration laws of that country. Australia demands a minimum period of 3 year of work experience in you home country. This is not the law but the policy. Secondly, Australia and UK both demand minimum period of study in recognized institutions of the respective country (read as Australia and UK). Thirdly, your occupation should be in demand in that country. Fourthly, requisite skill in English language. These are the basics. In Australia and NZ you have points based immigration programme. Rest please look into the respective country's immigration website. Keeping in mind the

Internet! Seriously, sites like LinkedIn and Xing will make you visible to potential recruiters. For each country, look at what the most popular job board is and use that. For Germany, it is http://monster.de. For other countries, you can find the details from various forums. Unless you are a known specialist in a sought after domain, be prepared to wait a while. Look at this from a company's perspective. Hiring someone who is not local is costlier. There are various legal formalities and it is usually not as effective to interview someone over Internet video as in person. So, why should a company hire someone and go through the legal process? Especially for the US where the outcome of the process i.e. granting of a permit is not very predictable? You need to make sure that you are able to bring something to the company that would make all this expense worthwhile. And that it is not available locally. Many companies would hire someone local if that person is just enough for the job rather than hire someone better qualified from abroad simply because the local person is immediately available with minimum process overhead. The important thing is to be patient and not lose your heart. Good Luck!

My answer is based on my personal 1st hand experience and is relevant to those who are in software or Internet based services. I got job offer from companies based in Singapore, Germany and Australia who agreed to sponsor my visa. I've worked in India, Singapore and Germany. To get a job anywhere:Make a good resume and a very impressive LinkedIn profile. Have good connection network and add recruiters as wellApply to as many jobs as you can, of course relevant to your field. There will be high chances that you will get at least few calls for 1st round ( which could be online test), prove yourself and there you are in Singapore. I am saying this as work visa(Employment Pass) process for Singapore is not very difficult as other countries like US and it just takes few days.If you wish to apply for technical jobs :Now a days its good to have very good open source contribution, an impressive github profile, personal projects, hacker rank score etcOne more thing is, you can search jobs and appear for interviews if you are there on tourist visa.Plan well ahead, apply for jobs and then plan your visit once you have few interview calls. Singapore work visa process is really simple and you are allowed to give interviews when you are there on tourist visa and to be frank sometimes you have better chances as well as people on tourist visa accept jobs for lesser salaries than people already working in Singapore :)There are lots of local websites which are specifically famous in the region, for instance in Singapore:http://www.jobstreet.com.sg/http://www.jobstreet.com.sg/http://www.monster.com.sg/http://www.monster.com.sg/http://sg.jobsdb.com/sghttps://www.robertwalters.com.sg/http://www.randstad.com.sg/http://www.indeed.com.sg/https://www.regionup.com/http://singapore.recruit.net/http://singapore.recruit.net/However from my experience I feel it is easiest to find job in Singapore because of quick visa processes, so in case of urgent requirements if you are immediately available its a plus, but its employer dependentBit hard in Europe but you can be independent of employer till the time you satisfy salary requirements. Though visa takes longer.Almost same as Europe in Australia, but you need to go through medical tests and all.US would be most difficult because of visa restrictions, otherwise there are lots of opportunities in there

After 8 months of applying jobs from Singapore, not only the time difference was difficult but it would make no sense to fly over just for an interview. Not to mention, I was still employed in Singapore. I told myself I had enough. I quit my job in Singapore and took a risk, the biggest one IĆ¢ve ever taken. I've traveled 8098 miles. My back hurts, my legs are cramped and I am in the weird state where the minds asleep but the body walks. I've finally landed in New York after a 18 hour emergency landing in Narita, Japan. But these were the least of my worries. I entered the country, which I barely knew, without a job and hoping for a fresh start. My advice: Pack your bags and apply from the country you are in.
