How can I have dual monitors and two workstations without needing to manually switch the monitor cabling?
-
I have dual LCD monitors which I currently have plugged into my docking station for a Toshiba Tecra laptop. I now want to setup a workstation that will share these same two monitors, but without having to manually switch the cables back and forth. If I just wanted to switch between one monitor, I could do that with a KVM - but how do I do this with two monitors?

Answer:
You could buy a dual monitor KVM switch, but those are pricey, ~$150. I suppose you could use 2 standard KVM switches and use the second one for video only.
