I have to take an image process it through LPF and HPF simultaneously, and after decimation I have to show the low low band and high high band. Any idea?

Here is a quick outline on how to get the LPF and HPF of an image - http://www.mathworks.se/matlabcentral/answers/65180-how-to-perform-wavelet-decomposition-hpf-and-lpf-on-image-separately Step 1: Read the image in MATLAB with imread( http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/ref/imread.html ). Step 2: Get the wavelet transform for Low frequency and High frequency bands. Step 3: Now, individually reconstruct each of the bands.
