German trade statistics?

Where can I find recent statistics and case studies on virtual trade shows?

• I've searched quite a bit, and the statistics are all from 2010 or 2011, and there's very little new data and case studies including categories doing it, attendee rates, engagement, leads per exhibitor, etc. Is the industry dying, transforming, or morphing into another term?

  There's something called the Virtual Edge Institute:http://www.virtualedgeinstitute.com/http://www.virtualedgeinstitute.com/ who do annual studies. I think the hype on virtual shows is over, but they have their uses - primarily in terms of bringing new segments of exhibitors, sponsors and attendees into existing exhibitions, as well as doing live streaming of events. Unfortunately, virtual shows are clunky and don't look nearly as cool as we think they should. I hope this answer helps.
