What job should i take up after selling off my company, in India?

  • After 2 and a half years of running my startup, and helping it reach break even, faster than ever, we have an offer to merge with a larger organization. And we have decided to go with it. Though i am being offered a post in the new organization, i don't wish to take it up. I want to experience a different culture. Now, what kind of job should i take up (i am sure i won't do another start-up for at least the next 5 years), as i have always been a serial entrepreneur till date, and a good one at that ? I have attended numerous talk shows, interviews, etc. where i have told all, that the reason why i became an entrepreneur was, that's the only way i know how to live. Now, i want to live in some other way. How do i apply, and where do i do so? If i get in touch with my peers and close network, most of them are young entrepreneurs, who want me to join them. But i don't feel that either of them is offering me the right growth opportunity. What should my next step be, where i'll be recognized for my skills as a leader and an entrepreneur and not based on my degree, and yet be a known corporate organization? P.S. Degree is not a problem. I am a graduate and post graduate from top notch universities of India, but i have never made a resume and don't give a damn to the concept of degrees

I would suggest you go to Australia, or Europe and play some sport regularly. Also, you can write a book and learn some music. I would request you to come back to India after your break and start something that could create a lot of jobs for the huge working population of India.

If you have a good product idea then you can look at different disrupting markets and even though you don't want to have another startup till 5 years you can do the ground work for your next product for some time. Another option would be to contribute to somebody else's greater vision by investing your time in their ideas. Another option would be to take up some work which you always dream of doing at some point in life...you can think that maybe this is the point.

Please become a Professor.Be an Angel investor in parallel or start some kind of incubator,for the Greater Good.You know how messy our education system is and the rat race going on here.Someone like you can bring change to some people's life.
