How do I create my own reliable personal email address which can still redirect my yahoo emails to that address?

I am finding my yahoo email very unreliable when brought in through my mac mail server on my imac and iphone. And their customer service is awful with no way to talk to anyone. I want to get a personalised email anyway as it looks more professional. I have a website with 1&1. Is it best to just set up through that, and how easy is it to get the yahoo emails redirected to it?
