In all the analysis I've done on things like Java vs C# jobs, they tend to be much for muchness. In some areas like GB, C# is more in demand whilst in the USA and Australia, Java is more popular (Source: https://gooroo.io/GoorooTHINK/Article/16225/Programming-languages--salaries-and-demand-October-2014/17087). Both are very strong languages, with lots of backing in enterprise so are sticking around for a long time yet. https://gooroo.io/analytics/career/dotNET-Developer earn slightly less than https://gooroo.io/analytics/career/Java-Developer. Here's another https://gooroo.io/GoorooTHINK/Article/16227/Another-Top-10-Languages-list-for-2014/17187# for you. JavaScript might also be something to look into as it regularly shows extremely high demand and reasonable pay. PHP is in a middle group, neither popular, nor unpopular, but I personally wouldn't put my eggs in that basket.

J2EE and .NET are still strong in Enterprise Software, and they are not going away very soon. Mobile space (iOS and Android) is the 'Dark Horse'.  If you can do one of these 2, you are set for life.

You would probably better answer your question if you decided what type of programming you want to do.  If it's mobile-centric, .NET, Java and ObjectiveC/Swift are your best choices.  If it's analytics, R and Python are great options.  Web Applications?   Ruby+Rails, Python+Django, Scala or Java+Play for example.  Learning a language for the sake of learning something that has good future scope is probably a flawed approach.  I'd first figure out what you enjoy doing, and then look for the tool that will lead you down the road to the goals you're wanting.  A good programmer can find a job in any language.  And the best Programmers I know LOVE their tools.

IT industry is wide and huge, there's no single best programming language. What would good for you are the following,Learning C is always advantageous .If you want to go into E commerce then Java. Learn nodejs  for web development. If you want to opt for Data Science or machine learning then R,python.

It depends on what do you mean by "near future". Some interesting programming paradigms came up lately i.e. reactive programming. There is also push on concurrent programming. I'm learning Scala for now. Mostly because i'm fascinated about its flexibility. Scala gives you a power to build code which would look inconvenient in popular languages but you can also sculpt terrible monster. It's significant to know about existence of programming paradigms, their appliance and which languages best suit to such paradigm or even make it possible to use. I personally wouldn't rely on JavaScript. It's dynamic typed, doesn't have normalized object-oriented syntax, in general it fits to small frustum of view. If you want to develop high scalable and heavy computing applications make sure you choose the right tool for the right job. http://www.scala-lang.org/

J2EE which is Java Enterprise Edition along with C# are programming languages with great future.Java is widely used in various fields such as Application and Game development while C# is popular among Game developers.

All of the above. Everyone have some advantages over others. For web development in cheapest price, i am not sure there is better alternative of php. PHP can't be used for mobile application, so android/ios/windows are needed for mobile platform.
