What are the BEST JOBS you know about?

  • I'm a contributing writer @ Fortune Magazine working on a story about "The Best Jobs" in America... I'm looking for leads to people with truly *amazing* jobs... jobs that make you say, "Damn, I wish I had that job!" or at the very least, "Damn, that's a great job." Three examples:  (1) the executive director of http://Google.Org (he oversees their "Tech-Driven Philanthropy"); (2) a young man who works for a worldwide hotel chain as their master D.J., and travels the world seeking out new music and sounds, as well as programming the music in each of the hotels; a young woman who is paid by the U.S. government to try and hack their systems. So, anyone out there know of some more *great* jobs???

    There can be only one. Jokes aside, I think being on the bench in an IT company is an amazing job. You get paid just for showing up, and you literally have no work to do. Pretty sweet, eh?
