How can I promote my new product outside of the US?

Product Marketing: How would you promote a new software for medium and large companies?

  • So we have developed a new software for companies in emerging countries such as Brazil but we are wondering what would be the best approach to promote it. Would you use Addwords or direct contact?

  • Answer:

    1.Decide what your objectives are - awareness, sales etc. 2.Find out who your target buyers for your software are and understand their buyer behaviours. If they prefer to search for products online then use addwords, if they prefer going to expos to find information then find the right expos for your software market. But these are unlikely to be one off activities you will likely find that you need to do a few and link them together e.g. link email marketing with an opportunity for direct contact etc..
