"Ve yine" is a literal translation and it does not convey the intended meaning. Here is my translation: "Bütün hayatım boyunca bir şeyi kaybetmekten hiç bu kadar korkmamıştım. Öte yandan, hayatımdaki hiçbir şey de bana senin kadar anlam ifade etmedi." The second sentence sounds a bit off in Turkish since the counterparts of your words are not commonly used. If I was to give the same compliment in Turkish I would go with a precious theme. Then the second part becomes: "...Öte yandan, hayatımdaki hiçbir şey de senin kadar değerli değildi." "...Then again, nothing in my life was more precious than you are." You can also choose whichever translation provided before mine. But for "Then again" use "Öte yandan" or my personal favorite and the best translation "Mamafih" rather than "Ve yine". The latter is considered outdated. Then again language was developed for one endeavor: to woo women. :)
