  • Answer:

Hi, Craig 1. Better listener: listen to movies (with French subtitles), music, tv shows 2. Read books in French, learn grammar (get a good grammar book), and verb conjugations (get Bescherelle); use a tutor for pronunciation, phrase construction and conversation 3. Make French a daily habit. Start small (5 minutes but don't miss a day); in 60 days you should have built a daily habit which now you *want* to have, rather than resent as a chore. Increase little by little this daily habit. The more you do daily, the faster you become bilingual (then fluent). For an intense approach, ideal is 1 hr/day. __ Hope this helps!
