WHICH IS THE BEST GAMING CONSOLE PS3 OR XBOX 360 ?

Xbox 360. People actually talk about their exclusives, like Halo and Gears of War, but I never hear people talking about uncharted, killzone, or other exclusives for ps3. Plus in Ps3 if your friends are not playing the same game you can't talk to each other, you can only talk to the people in your game lobby. In xbox there is party chat and you can talk to your friends any time, while playing different games or anything. I don't think $60 a year is much so definitely go for the xbox 360. Xbox Live's security is much better than ps3s, ps3 has been hacked so many times and people couldn't play online. Xbox 360 also has more users.

PS3. Better exclusives, free online (and the online is fine, people who say it sucks never played on it before). The only point of the 360 is first person shooters

I suggest u Xbox 360... its resolution is 720p ....HD ... when compares to ps3 which is not hd ...

Xbox360 was the better system (due to it was easy to create game for).... But PS3 had a few unique games...and blu-ray.... and PSN+ has been awesome with the PS3, these last 16 or so months. So many free AAA titles, and even more indie titles (about 3 a month. Although, May's releases don't look all that great; unless you like soccer.) PC>Xbox for FPS. Can't beat the mouse when it comes to FPS.

One week delay to inform users that they could lose their identity and live savings. Not a company that will get my money. It's not a matter of fanboy-ism. It's simple common sense.

ok I'll jump in now and start my answer before all the fan boys show up >.> although it's likely some will have posted before I finish. As an owner of both consoles and fanboy of neither I feel I can offer an un-biased answer to a question that's likely to be flooded with either 1 word fanboy answers, or insulting messages about fans of one and how the other one is 'awesome'. So lets see we could begin with hardware, though I doubt you really care. Both consoles can draw pretty pictures... but as the PS3 has a bluray player it's slightly prettier, not that there's really much difference there. Failure rate, in my experience I've found the 360 to be more fragile in lifetime. However the 360 seems to also be more resilient when it first encounters a problem and hold out till the bitter end. Whereas any ps3 I've had as soon as something has started to go wrong, it quickly plummets like a stone dropped off a cliff. The knitty-gritty of it is it all really comes down to what games you prefer. This is because of the all mighty, decision changing exclusives. Each console has different exclusives and you should look at that as your deciding factor. So fighting in the 360 corner we have: Dead Rising Series, Halo Series, Lost Odyssey, left 4 dead series. Plus although it isn't a game paid online gaming... so that may not come across as a positive but, 360 game servers stay up for longer before being shutdown, and not as many people hack on the 360 as the security is better. and in the PS3 Corner we have: Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, Unchartered Series, Motorstorm (other sports exc. I don't play many sports games), kill zone series, Persona 5 (yet to be released), Valkyria Chronicles. Plus Free online Play! psst... it's less secure and older game servers are usually shutdown due to low demands. So my answer may not exactly of been what you're looking for, but ultimately only you can decide what the better console is for you to play.
