    1. How to split a video in WMM - You simply fast forward to the point where you want to divide the video then right click and select Split. I've attached a screenshot here: http://i.imgur.com/TzCnUio.jpg 2. YouTube rules are dumb - There is NO time limit how much you can upload to YouTube. You are most likely referring to 15 minutes cap, you are getting that because you have not verified your account yet. Read this Google article how to remove 15 minutes cap: http://goo.gl/GvmWKw Also check your account features tab to see what other features may be not yet available to you because you haven't done verified something yet: http://www.youtube.com/features 3. Can Fraps split video every 10 minutes - No. But Fraps does can split your video every 4 GBs in size, which would be more or less around every 2 minutes of the recorded footage. You can enable that feature in Fraps - Movies tab. Note: Even if you are going to remove the 15 minutes cap from your account, I would still advice you to split your long videos into parts. Viewers usually get bored from watching a massive video, but tend to finish one part and come back and continue watching the part part later on. If you'll have any other Fraps or other recording software questions you can ask them at Encoding Talk forum for a quick answer: http://EncodingTalk.com

My assumptions tell me that you use Windows Movie Maker since you didn't provide more information about the name of your software so I will respond with my help for Windows Movie Maker. I don't know what version of Windows Movie Maker you are using but this should be the same for most recent versions: There are some different tabs on the top of the toolbar below the window field when you open Movie Maker, so after you have added a video file you should see one which says "Video Tools" (I am not entirely sure what it says due to the fact that my OS is in Swedish but I think it says so), to the far right of the other tabs. When you click that you should see some sound options, speed options and a "split" button (I am unsure about the text on this one too but its symbol is a blue and white line with another line in the middle). Simply click it at the moment of your video project where you wish to split the video and there you go! I can't answer your question about Fraps because I prefer another recording software rather than that but if my answer to your Movie Maker question is working, you don't need to stop recording and start again.

Try Bandicut - it's a very simple video splitting program! Also, try Bandicam for recording - it's good, too!
