  You have to be ready for high pressure situations and debates while not taking criticism or insult s personally and you have to have a great attitude with comedic relief. what it all comes to is being witty and making the audience able to relate to what you're saying with an unbiased view. This is a social skill that takes long to master. you need to be able to take criticism off the chip of your shoulder and no who you are because that is what will shine the most.As a host you aren't there to get your opinion forward but to allow the audience to. You need to know what target market is watching your show and try to relate to the majority of them. It takes a constant analysis of your environment and the people you are dealing with, you want to make everyone comfortable and make yourself a likeable person.
