What do I do to become a computer engineer?

What is the correct path to become a computer engineer?

• I have completed 2 yrs of college doing mathematics and computing.I have done some basic cs courses-cs101,Data structures,Algos, Theory of Computation.But the courses were  inclined to  theoretical side with very less emphasis on coding. Hence my coding skills are very bad.Now Training period have started and i have realized that  i won't get an internship or a job if i am not good in coding. i know basic coding and can think up basic algorithms.It's the tiny minute details -setting up the api,using a particular framework etc that bog me down.That means i don't know the languages(Java) beyond basic level. What can i do become a good coder such that any coding company can pick me during placements?Nothing is too late i hope?

  I'm not a language-driven coder. I can code in every language. Fortunately it takes very little amount of time to learn basics of a language and improve upon it for me. If you too are like me you should lean on alghorithms, concepts, logical thinking and basically math. Since you studied math it won't be too hard. If you are more of a language-driven coder, you should learn a language that most suits you. And start studying it.
