What kind of jobs can you get with a Masters degree in psychology and communications?

  I worked for the last 20 yrs of my adult life as a therapist and worked with very troubled adolescents. I had an Ed. Specialist degree in Guidance and Counseling, and lots of in-service and on-going courses. That was 20 yrs ago when I retired, and back then, psychology was a very popular major, and there were a lot of unemployed psych majors looking for work. The one psychologist where I worked, just did the psych testing--but the info he gave us from his tests, were nothing new and did not help. We had found out the info and much more in working with the adolescent and his/her family members. I don't know how it is now, but I'd sure recommend that you see your Guidance Counselor and ask to take all the I.Q. and Vocational Interest inventories that you can--and get those results first!
