Your willingness to go forward with the interviews is a sure sign of best intentions on your part. Confidence of course will be determined over the long haul. Go ahead and give it your best. Be a good listener and have a reply for all the questions, but don't get too anxious and start talking too much. This has always gotten me in trouble in some job interviews. Your chances are now 50/50 because the other guy is the other 50 percent. But you have one advantage over him. You ask questions, instead of being too self centered or over confident you have enough humility to ask questions and know your personal limits and ambitions.
