How important is it that you study they Bible as this video suggests?

Yes, thank you, I already know that by studying the Bible we can find answers to life's problems. But when I went to the Jehovah's Witness video clip you are promoting, it stopped after asking the question "Why is the sky blue?" I was so underwhelmed, I quit trying to find out more. Problem is that when Jehovah's Witnesses say they will study the Bible with you, what they really mean is they will study their book "What Does the Bible REALLY Teach?" By the way, that should be renamed as "What Does the New World Translation of the Bible Really Teach?" Yes, the Bible contains all the answers to life's problems - but we don't need Jehovah's Witnesses to come to our homes to give us their particular interpretation of Scripture. We can study the Bible at home all by ourselves. LM

Reading the Bible is very important. It teaches us who the true God is, who the true Christ is and what the kingdom will bring to all mankind. It also frees people from false teachings like the Trinity and hellfire, to name a few. It doesn't take much to free oneself from these just takes an open mind and logical thinking. Jehovah's Witnesses worldwide volunteer their time to teach others these glorious truths to those that would like to learn what the Bible really teaches.

As you can see in the video, the Bible answers the deep questions that human beings asks themselves. Each and and everyone of us have to deal with problems and difficulties. 2 Timothy 3:16 says that: "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness". Hence, the Bible gives us God's point of view on how we should cope with our problems and also provides us with answers to our questions therefore leading to have a fulfilling and meaningful life. We are living in a world full of hate and suffer. When we study the Bible, it gives us hope for the future. The video clearly shows this.

It is not so much the study of the Bible itself, but that you study it with the Holy Spirit, which dwells within Christians. It is a Spiritual book, written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit, and it is by that same Spirit who will reveal and teach us the Spiritual truths that can be found within it. Those truths remain, despite whatever version and translation man has done with it... including the NWT, which has been altered to conform with JW doctrine and beliefs.

I am not watching your video, however it is important for Christians to read the Bible - this is the word of God, this is what God is telling us we need to do. It is very important that we read the message God is telling us, not just do whatever our priest or pastor tells us what to believe and do.

you have to read your bible or be around the Word so that your Faith can be build up in God Faith coming by hearing and by hearing the Word of God if you don't read or don't go to Church to hear the Word you will never be able to tap into the Power of God thank you Lord for everything

Witness of Jesus may have some valid points, however, the Bible is full of indisputable truth. Rather than containing the inspired words of men that knew God, it contains the inspired words of God given to men who knew that God was very real. The words that the prophets spoke were not lost, God knew them for He gave them to the prophets to speak. I have absolutely no idea what you are implying by the term "true prophets," Witness of Jesus. The Book of Mormon is not as good as or better than the Bible. If it were then there would not have been polygamy and incest taking place during the early years of Mormonism. Establishment of Elders, or any other title, for the express purpose of controlling what adherents can believe is anti-Christian. It is the most important thing in this world to do: to properly study and understand the Bible and the spiritual truths contained within it.
