Government Jobs Help?

In your opinion, how much should the Government help people get jobs after the econmy crashes?

  • Should they help a lot? Should it be up to the people to get back up and get a new job? Should the Government help out a little?

  • Answer:

Define "help." In the pits of the recent depression the Federal Government grew 14%. ALL of those jobs, by definition, cannot produce anything of marketable value. They must, by law, be a drain of the economy. Despite the fact the the government owns GM, it cannot manufacture cars for profit. Now, the government can coordinate information an where the jobs are (North Dakota) and even assist with programs for connecting people with those jobs. But of all the billions wasted in the TARP program, no real jobs were created by the Federal Government.
