i want to subscribe to starnow but anxious about it being a scam and waste of money as i cant apply for any modelling audition without subscribing and having to pay. ...show more

Yes I have used it and I have gotten into many legitimate auditions. But in my area it's really hard to find auditions so I have only been accepted in 3 auditions which 1 I got into. But i must warn you StarNow does cost even if you don't find an audition your looking for.

Any modeling agency that asks for money up front is a scam. My daughter modeled for years and we never had to pay the agency. We had to pay for head shots but we found our own (professional) photographer for that and the agency had no involvement in that process. Once they take you on the only money that changes hands is when they get you a job and they pay you (after taking their percentage, of course).
