How to fix Ps3 to pc monitor hdmi question set up and display?

    Don't connect the PS3 to the computer HDMI output. Connect the PS3 directly to the Monitor. Video out connectors are different from USB and the like in that the video connectors are Output only they are not a two way street. Connect the PS3 directly to the monitor. If you have just one monitor that could pose a problem when you desire to use both at the same time. I'm not sure if the new monitors accept two separate video inputs and just select which one you want to view using the menu options. I have never tried to connect two sources to the same monitor before. But you can just unplug one and plug in the other when you want to use it. But DON'T connect the video output from the PS3 directly to the Computers video output. They might burn one another out. that's my two scents
