Is GITAM University good?

Which is the better option for a master's in psychology area, GITAM University, AP or Avinashilingam University, Coimbatore?

  • Is a http://M.Sc. in applied psychology from GITAM University considered good? Is it approved by the UGC? I would like to know about the validity of masters in psychology counseling offered by Avinashilingam University, Coimbatore too. Which is the better option- GITAM or Avinashilingam ?

Just wanted to know, do you have location restrictions ? If not, then why dont you look at fantastic colleges in India, I am sure you can find a list of top rated programs. I am from TISS, and I know it has a very good program for MA in Psychology. Secondly, I am an alumnus of GITAM University, and trust me, it is BAD. I will not elaborate much on it but if you are serious about your Masters degree and getting into a decent job, I would ask you to re evaluate and if possible not consider GITAM. I do not know about Avinashilingam, hence cant comment
