Radar detectors are no guarantee that you will not get caught speeding. Lots of cities and counties have cameras that will catch you and you will receive the ticket in the mail with two nice photos of your car and your license plate. Some police use detectors that cannot be detected. What I recommend is you just simply slow down to no more than 5 mph over the speed limit. I use to be a person who was always speeding. Now I drive close to the speed limit and never worry about the police. As fas as racing on the street. This is not 1955 and today the police and judges have a very dim view of street racing. The penalties can be severe and you can loose not only your license but your life. In addition, kill someone while street racing and you will do some serious jail time. As to the radio, I would highly recommend the Pioneer - FHX500UI Double DIN CD/MP3/AM/FM Stereo Receiver is a great choice at around $120.
