Do I need a visa if I have USA green card?

I'm a green card holder from USA need to go to Costa Rica for 3 days, do I need a visa? nationality Haitian.?

  • Answer:

I can assure you with 100% certainty that since February 16, 2009 a Green Card holder does NOT need a visa to visit Costa Rica any longer. Except from this are only some nationals from Middle Eastern countries and from China. The Green Card works like a visa waiver for Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, Costa Rica included. http://www.immihelp.com/visas/visawaiver.html
