Don't fall for posts like the one above that promise lots of cheap traffic. Your best bet is to create a site that will be good enough for people to recommend and link to. This will multiply any marketing efforts you do as you will keep the people you attract to your site. Instead of competing with the thousands of blogs online, maybe try doing something local like calling businesses and asking them if they need help with online marketing.
