Where can I change the name that appears in from in yahoo mail?

When sending mail. my wife's name appears with the yahoo name, as the sen. How do I change or eliminate this?

  • I want to change or remove the my name. it is showing with my yahoo e-mail name, in the sender line. I don't want that name to appear.

  • Answer:

    Just change the "from line" setting. ON YOUR MAIL PAGE----hover over the "Gear" icon (little wheel thing, top right) and in the drop menu click on "Settings". Then click on "Accounts" (menu on the left). Then click on "Edit" (on the right next to your address). Erase what is currently showing on the "from line"--(or "send as " line) and enter whatever you want your recipients to see. THEN click "SAVE".
