Can you join the military with easily controlled/managed breathing allergies?

If I have "allergy asthma" can I join the military?

Yes you will be DQ'd , you are PDQ no waivers.

If your doc used the word asthma in the diagnosis, then you would have to apply for a waiver. And that will only be approved if you can pass a pulmonary function test, such as the methocholine challenge. Pass it with flying colors... then you have a chance. The slightest sign of a reaction... no go.
