  You need to rearrange your mindset -- that your product/service helps people with a legitimate need. Then you need to learn how to find & screen people for that legitimate need. This helps you not waste time on people who don't want/need your service. But it helps the other guy but not wasting their time hearing about your business when they don't need it. (But might I suggest that you possibly are shy and/or insecure in some areas? You may seriously want to consider a working on social skills and/or confidence. That's really critical in sales. Books, community colleges, social organizations can all help with these things!)
