Do the Doug Hannon fishing snakes work well underwater?

Answer:
I'm pretty sure if you use a heavy enough worm sinker, say an ounce or so, it might work as a Texas-rigged Doug Hannon Snake. You can always try it. If it doesn't work, then it doesn't work.

No, it isn't made to go underwater.

Eh, they might with the right weight setup but my guess would be that the action of the bait would be all screwed up. I'd go with a Zoom Trick Worm for fishing under water. They're not as big as the snakes you're referring to but they have the same type of action, which is very productive. Btw, do you have the Doug Hannon snake kit? If so, what do you think about them?
