Powerpoint is NOT a free program and any "free" download would be pirated; and the first time you try to get an update it could be made inoperable AND you could wind up in court for software theft. IF you have the original program discs you can load it on the newer system, then move all your other powerpoint files. OR you can download Open Office, which is a. free, and b. can read and write MOST microsoft word, excel, and powerpoint files. It DOES take some getting used to and learning, BUT it ALSO has a great many extensions for formats that "word" can NOT use and/or read that can be downloaded.
