How can I gain experience to be a paralegal?

I want to pursue a career in the field of cognitive science, but do not yet have any relevant experience. How can I gain experience, as I do not know anyone in the field?

• I am awaiting my final year Btech in IT results from a reputed university in India, My GPA may not be that good i.e. 2.4 approx and I am also done with my GRE, I want pursue my career in field of Cog Sci but I am lacking relevant experience, Please advice me.
