Is Mumbai expensive to live in?

What is a good place to live in Mumbai temporarily?

  • I am planning to move to Mumbai for six months my aim is to meet/socialize with people from various fields (business, art, engineering) What should be the best strategy? 1. Should I take a place on rent or choose hotel? 2. What is a decent location that is not too expensive but not too shabby to live? Constraints are: 1. It should not be too expensive. (Assuming I want to budget it under 30K per month) 2. There should be a good internet connectivity. 3. I am not planning to live in a shared accommodation.

  • Answer:

I suggest stay as a pg near shivaji park. That'll cost you around 8.5k-10k.if you're willing to splurge a bit more choose worli or prabhadevi as a pg that's around 15-20 k.The advantage of pg staying is good food they provide and internet connection. Also no rent deposit.
