Shower with stitches?

Got stitches on my finger last night, can I take a shower?

I would not get it wet if I was you so I think just wear like a latex glove or some time of glove that will keep your hand dry while you take a shower

you can shower, just try not to get your finger wet . i know it sounds hard, but its like a cast, if you get it wet, it will rip it open , because water softens the wound, and the string gets old, therefore making it more likely for it to break .

Yeah of course you can. I wouldn't soak them in a bath for a long time but they'll be tough enough for a light shower of water. Just don't catch them! Ouch!

I got 9 stitches in my head and I took a shower with no problems, so I think you should be fine. Just don't stay in there long enough to prune up.

You take plastic and wrap and wrap and super tape it up and then shower. I do not know how long before you can shower without doing that most likely until they are removed or melt off. Cut some baggies and use them.

yes they say to not soak it though. I got stitches on my leg and it will be fine. just use your other hand :)
