Answer:
You can rent a tent, or should I say tents, since there are 11. Make every couple rent their own tent. Rentals can be found at outdoor stores. I can't believe anyone still lives in New Jersey, but that's like, just my opinion, Man. My suggestion is to head North to New York State. New jersey is a cesspool of industry and mostly exists to service NYC, the big apple. But rural New York State is beautiful. You'll have to drive a couple hours but if you do a google search you can find what you are looking for. https://www.google.com/search?q=google+maps+new+york+national+forrests&oq=google+maps+new+york+national+forrests&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i64.13656j0j8&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=0&ie=UTF-8#q=google+maps+NY+national+forests You have 2 basic choices: campgrounds, where the neighbors may or not like smoking (wink wink) or National Forests where you have total freedom but have to bring everything you need including a place to potty. My Spidy sense tells me that if you don't have a tent, you probably are not an experienced camper, so there is a lot to learn and think about. Let's begin here: http://www.youtube.com/user/wildernessoutfitters and more specifically, here and backing up to the basic things you should bring: Since you are over 18 you can sign a contract for a campsite, but I suggest you don;'t really want a campsite, what will fit your needs is "displaced camping" in a National Forest. There will be no facilities but you will have freedom to do what you want, so long as you don't set the place on fire or leave a mess when you pack up to go home. Please don't leave a mess. Leave only footprints, please. I have discovered in life that local intel is easy to find by phoning the enforcers. I phone the County Sheriff or the Park Ranger (you can find this by searching the interwebs ;) and just ask them straight out. They will tell you what you need to know. [if you're really paranoid, call them from a pay phone and wipe your fingerprints off when you leave. HA!] Oh, and watch out for the cameras, so you might want to wear a disguise when using the pay phone. Hey, just joking, I was a teenager before cell phones were invented so these days I am paranoid too. Just having a little fun with you ;)
