Answer:
If you bought it as is and with no warranty then it's your problem. You need to check used cars out before you buy them

sue the b4stards. I sure would, and I have, and netted $1000s in small claims pro se, ie, representing myself; no lawyer. you may not know your warranty rights & lemon law protections. Beware the common uninformed opinions offered on this topic. what you describe seems like fraud which is an excellent ground for legal action. some states have implied warranties which there,s no paper work for but are created by state law by the sale occurring. in some states, lemon law apply to used cars. in some states even if they.r very old. call county & state consumer protection depts. as abt small claims. search state law online. get max informed, it,s very well worth it. when informed as much as poss, call many lawyers in the consumer law field. have all documentation handy. ask abt small claims and the legal areas I posted above. be relentless and you,l profit greatly. I have. Plus, getting revenge is great fun. http://www.atg.wa.gov/page.aspx?id=25024 WA State Atty Gen. . Implied Warranty on used cars: [Implied: not written] . From your description it sounds like you purchased the vehicle "as is" with no type of warranty. Because of this you are 100% responsible for any problems the vehicle may have once you took possession. The dealer has zero responsibility at this point.

Used cars are sold as is. You have the right to pay to repair it, or let it sit in your driveway. You do not have the right to stop paying the loan payments. There is a rick in buying any used vehicle. It's a 14 year old Saturn, and that's a big risk.
