  No genuine agency would even consider you - I don't know where you heard that, but it's not true. In the UK you'll have to be ready to act live on stage in plays, in pantomime, schools tours, TV, films, company training videos, adverts, voice-overs - anything you can get. To become an actor you first have to get training by attending a really good acting school for several years. You also have to take singing and dance classes, and get experience with a good community theatre. You'll need lots of top-grade GCSEs, ideally including Drama, and definitely including English. Then you'll have to get into A Level College to study Drama (or Theatre) and a few other related subjects like English, History, Psychology, etc. All that time, you'll also need to be continuing with the acting school, singing, dancing and theatre. You also need to get enough qualifications for your 'day job' as you'll need an ordinary job you can work alongside acting. The most you're ever likely to get as a professional actor is 2 or 3 weeks paid work a year, so you absolutely have to have another good job to earn enough money to live on. After all that, you'll have to try for a place at a top drama school for a degree-level 3-year course. It's very hard to get in, as they only have between 24 and 30 places at each, yet each school gets about 5,000 people auditioning every year. Only after you graduate will you be able to get an agent and therefore some auditions. That's what it's going to take - if you're serious about it, get working now! Good luck!
