I have always preferred CM Punk as a heel. CM Punk is one of the very few in WWE that has a great gift of being a tremendous face and a tremendous heel. Punks heel run from 2012-2013 run was one of the most impressive heel runs I have ever seen in a long time. What makes Punk great as a heel is the ability to generate real heat as a heel. Just my opinion, but I believe his character fits in better when he is a heel than a face, but other people will also have different thoughts.
