What degree do I need to pursue to have a "sit down" job in nursing?
-
I am a Registered nurse looking for a office job
-
Answer:
I don't know about you, but the nurses in my doctor's office never seem to have time to sit down. They are always on the move. That being said, I know that there are "telephone triage" positions for TeleHealth Ontario, and your province or state may have something similar. What about travel nursing? I think there are people they hire who are on call and travel with a patient in an air ambulance or on a plane when they need to travel for medical care. You should try to see if you can do an information interview with a couple of people who do different types of nursing. This will give you a better perspective on things.
