  MB Quart actually is CEA Rated I believe. I was skeptical but it's teh higher end of their amps. It is true to power when I tested it off the bench. I run it at full power and have had 90 degree days this year already, running half the day. It has YET to shut off on me. One time it jumped into protection mode once when I gave the car a boost. OK, here's where teh circuitry is tested. I let the battery charge, turned the car off and on to reset the circuit and it went back to normal. Exactly what it should do as I have seen cheaper amps. I decided to go with MB QUart because of the quality. It's not exactly alpine but much better than the cheapo brands. Trust me, I have had cheap amps that cut off in the heat or distort in the heat. I have also run a Kicker (my cousin's) on it (using all bridging all channels to the sub) and it pounded hard. but in the end what we have here is u powering 60watt speakers so I would save my money and go with the MB Quart. U could make a better argument only if we're talking about big power subs like 500w.
