It's not volunteer work if you're getting paid. As soon as you accept money, it's not being a volunteer. As long as they approve of your classes (you may have to apply through a council or apply to the home themselves; you cannot just walk in and start a class, they may also ask for a teaching qualification or a certificate) So as long as the home approve of the classes, and don't pay you, it should be alright.
